Americans celebrate Independence Day, and it’s an important one. This person wonders if other cultures celebrate it as well, but why would they? It is not a significant holiday to different cultures, so it wouldn’t make sense that they would celebrate something in their country that has nothing to do with them or their beliefs. Just as Americans probably wouldn’t celebrate holidays that had nothing to do with them or their own family’s culture. Curiosity isn’t a bad thing, though, and most of the comments were gentle with their opinions.
