A&W is an excellent place to eat, and in the ’80s, they wanted more customers. To have a more significant impact and compete with other restaurants better, they came out with a burger that was ⅓ of a pound. The problem was that it didn’t do well because other restaurants had a burger that was ¼ of a pound. Customers wrongly assumed that the latter was bigger, and the business lost revenue, which made them pull it off the menu.
