[post_page_title]Make the film wherever you want[/post_page_title]
Here we have a reporter asking a Korean director why he wanted to make the film he directed be in Korean. The movie was about class in Korea and social criticism. The director spoke Korean, of course, and he had chosen to hire a Korean cast to convey the message of the movie. However, the reporter seemed perplexed as to why he did it and why he didn’t go for another language or country, but to us, it makes perfect sense why a director making a film on social criticism in Korea would film in Korea.
