If there’s one place in an office that absolutely must be kept in a neat and acceptable condition, it’s the restroom. As such, this person has put up a sign asking people to make sure that they flush the toilet after use – a reasonable request.
However, the ambiguity in the word ‘check’ has led people to literally mark the paper when they’ve flushed. While the amount of checks is comforting, we hope people washed their hands first. We wouldn’t want to borrow a pen from anyone in this office.
