We can’t really figure out what this situation is about. Whatever is down there must be pretty important if it warrants putting a person head-first into the ground to retrieve it. Was he walking past the hole and dropped his car keys in?
Surprisingly, it’s not just the man in the hole that’s interesting in this photo. Everyone in the background is remarkably uninterested as if this a situation that occurs all the time. Maybe it is common for people to drop their keys in this hole and go upside down to get them back. We can’t be certain.
