This Harry Potter fan rightfully pointed out that Dumbledore could’ve been a little more straightforward with Harry in his younger years. That is, why didn’t he just tell him from the beginning how to defeat Voldemort, before most of the damage was already done? At the beginning, all he chose to tell him was to be brave and love his friends, and then in later books, he suddenly drops this huge ordeal on Harry – and mostly, information that could’ve been very useful to him earlier on.
