The middle child of the show is no less than Thelma. This character loves everything to do with performing arts and hopes that one day she, too, will grow up to be just like the stars she watches on the screen.
Thelma loves to please her father, James, but that doesn’t stop her from going against her parents’ wishes and getting engaged – more than once – throughout the series. When the show comes to an end, Thelma discovers she is pregnant and offers for Florida to move in with her and her fiancé, Keith, to raise the baby.
