Hand sewing is a really fun hobby to pick up, and it can be really useful, as well. You don’t need to shell out a ton of money for a sewing machine, and you can quickly fix up any rips in your jeans, any hems you need done, or any other craft projects you might have laying around.
One annoying, time-consuming aspect of it, though, is having to continually refer to a ruler for a small measurement. This Reddit user found a clever way around this by using their fingernail.
