Once again, the directness of a child takes us by surprise and makes us laugh. What parent doesn’t like hearing that they’re their kid’s favorite person? When the kid follows up with something like this, though, that warm feeling fades before it really started.
Let’s just hope this is one of those cases where a child learned a new phrase and wasn’t quite sure what it means or when to use it.
