[post_page_title]Bartering over rent[/post_page_title]
In some situations you can barter over the price of something, but when it comes to paying rent, that’s normally entirely up to your prospective landlord. This person went to view a room and even knew beforehand that the rent was going to be 900.
That didn’t stop them from trying to reduce it down to 800, but the landlord was not having any of that plan. You can’t blame this person for trying, but they must have known before speaking that it was going to be a long shot.
