Around the same time as Charlie was born, Tiger’s life out on the course started to crack too. Perhaps it was this struggle that began to break down their marriage. He was no longer at the top of his game, and his number of losses was starting to outweigh his wins.
This put a major strain on their marriage, and in 2010, they announced their separation. Although towards the end of their marriage there was a lot of pain and betrayal, the couple vowed to remain as harmonious as they could for the sake of their two young children who they didn’t want to get stuck in the middle. Although this broke their hearts, they knew it was for the best.
