Oliver was pretty astounded at what had happened. He hadn’t been warned about this new development, so it felt like he’d been completely ambushed. One minute his driveway had been clear, and the next there was a load of cinder blocks down the middle of it. He was determined to prove that his new neighbor was in the wrong and sort it out, which is why he looked up copies of the deeds that came with his house.
In them, it said that two driveways could be built next to each other, but it never said anything about them crossing over. His neighbor had come onto his property and established an inaccurate dividing line, something that Oliver wasn’t going to settle for. He didn’t know what the new resident was thinking, but the deed would surely put them in their place. They had to take responsibility for their actions.
