What confused Oliver about the cinder blocks was the fact they didn’t leave much driveway on his neighbor’s side. It seemed ridiculous dividing their properties in this spot because it seemingly benefitted no-one.
The new resident didn’t have enough space to park a car, while Lynch was left with a much smaller driveway than he needed. Both sides were losing here, and all because there’d been no communication between the two neighbors. Maybe if Oliver had been approached with the plans, they’d have reached a much more beneficial conclusion.
