These days, a trip to the supermarket is a depressing reminder of all the fancy, delicious food you can’t afford. But as a kid, when you weren’t the one paying, it was an adventure!
Half the time we would all try to convince our mom to buy us some sweets (she would refuse 98% of the time), and the other half would be spent proudly pushing around the cart and pretending it was a race car. Mom was never impressed.
