Going back to the first movie, Doc Brown made it abundantly clear that a person interacting with their future self can have disastrous consequences for the entire universe. At the very least, he says, it’ll cause the same person’s two versions to pass out from shock.
He’s seemingly proven right when that’s exactly what happens to the 1985 and 2015 Jennifers. But when old Biff later goes back to meet young Biff, they’re both completely nonchalant about the whole thing. Even young Biff, who just discovered out of the blue that time travel is real – from the mouth of his future self!
