[post_page_title]Biff goes from being dumb as a brick to being an evil genius[/post_page_title]
Biff Tannen is the quintessential “big, stupid, and mean” character archetype that seemed to populate nearly every ’80s movie. That’s fine. Not very inventive or original, but fine. Here’s our problem – Biff’s intelligence seems to come and go according to the needs of the plot.
Young Biff is dumber than a sack of hammers, but the 2015 Biff we see in Back to the Future 2 is an evil genius somehow. We’re not exaggerating – old Biff is not only extremely cunning in formulating his plan to get his past self filthy rich, but somehow figures out how to work the DeLorean completely by himself.
