After 1955 Biff receives the Grays Sports Almanac from the “old codger with a cane,” he switches the almanac’s dust jacket with that of a girly mag, Oh LàLà, to hide it. Of course, Marty only finds out about the ol’ switcheroo when he rescues the “almanac” from a trash can after Principal Strickland dumps it there.
Director Robert Zemeckis and the gang seemed to have forgotten something here, though – when Strickland confiscated the magazine from Biff minutes earlier, he thumbed through it and said nothing about the scantily clad women inside. Instead, he claimed he saw sports statistics. So, which is it, Strickland?
