[post_page_title]No, Doc, Marty and Jennifer most certainly did not ‘turn out fine'[/post_page_title]
The second Back to the Future begins with Doc telling Marty and Jennifer (who’s been recast) that they need to travel to the future to save their kids. First, however, he reassures them that the problem is indeed their kids, and that Marty and Jennifer themselves “turn out fine.”
As we learn more about their 2015 counterparts, though, we see they’re a universe away from “fine.” Future Marty loses his music career after a car accident and works a job he hates, and then loses, while Jennifer resents the fact that they got hitched in Vegas. Is this your definition of fine, Doc?
