[post_page_title]And Doc should be a goner either way[/post_page_title]
Of course, Marty soon learns that he still managed to save Doc’s life. Heeding Marty’s warning letter from 1955, Doc wears a bulletproof vest to the mall, thereby saving his life after getting shot. It’s a cool twist, except it falls apart with the barest amount of scrutiny. The Libyans had AK-47 machine guns, yet all Doc does is wear a bulletproof vest, which literally protects just his torso.
What if he was shot in, y’know, the head? For that matter, there’s no vest that could’ve protected him from automatic gunfire at that range. We love Doc Brown, but he should absolutely have croaked there.
