Aéropostale has done well to keep itself afloat given it filed for bankruptcy several years ago. The revelation came in 2016, following which over 150 stores were closed. It seemed like the retailer was about to disappear forever, but then it reopened 500 of its previously closed locations.
Aéropostale is obviously doing better than it was, but for how long? It faces a lot of competition from other brands like Abercrombie & Fitch and American Eagle Outfitters, meaning it could end up filing for bankruptcy again any day now.
