You probably won’t find many people walking around with clothes proudly declaring “GAP” these days. The brand hasn’t been popular for a while now, with the products referred to as being “lackluster” and “boring” by some customers.
Although stocks and revenue seem to be doing okay at the moment, more and more millennials are turning their backs on this brand. Companies under the Gap name, including Banana Republic and Old Navy, have also suffered some difficulties recently. Reports of closures don’t spell great things for these stores.
