Despite being on the more ‘cult’ side of things, Supernatural requires a budget of $2.2 million per episode. Of course, prosthetics and special effects really do demand quite an extreme budget, and what’s ‘Supernatural;’ without a bit of the, well, supernatural?
The show started back in 2005 and still has not finished producing series, although they have announced that there is an end in sight. All good things must come to an end. Whatever people think of the series, $2.2 million for fourteen years is quite impressive.
