Despite being one of the most anticipated shows in the world, ‘The Pacific’ beats ‘Game of Thrones’ by a long way when it comes to production cost. The estimated cost per episode for the show was around $21.7 million.
This was also a miniseries running from March until May 2010 and is not rivaled as far as cost is concerned. Its primary focus is on soldiers during the Second World War. Despite being compared to ‘Band of Brothers’, the show has nearly double the cost per episode.
