No expense was too great for this show, and how could it be? The show is based around the life of the monarchy, starting with The Queen’s father and continuing through her ascension. When depicting the Royal Family, they had no choice but to make sure everything was perfect.
However, perfection still has a price, and that price was estimated to be around $13 million per episode. The show began in 2016 and is expecting its third season in November 2019.
