This science-fiction show had somewhat of a rocky start, but eventually became one of HBO’s biggest shows, even considering ‘Game of Thrones’. The show focuses on a kind of amusement park that indulges high-paying individuals every desire without backlash, and explores how the events unfold.
The show brought together a fascinating concept, but that concept cost $25 million for the pilot alone, and then $10 million for every subsequent episode. It began in 2016 and continues to produce series today.
