Although Duane’s fling with Debbie might have been brief, the same can’t be said for his marriage to La Fonda Sue Honeycutt. The pair wed in 1972 when Chapman was still a teenager, and they were together for five years.
During that time, Honeycutt gave birth to two sons, although Chapman didn’t get to see much of them when they were young. Several years after marrying, Duane ended up behind bars, and he left jail 18 months later as a single man. Debbie had divorced him and taken the kids.
