Chapman’s turbulent love life started when the bounty hunter was just a teenager getting on the wrong side of the law. He had a tryst with Debbie White which, although brief, proved to be pretty eventful. Shortly after the two parted ways, White discovered that she was pregnant with Duane’s child. However, that wasn’t something she chose to share with the father, instead keeping it a secret.
Debbie raised the child – Christopher – as a single parent, and Chapman was none the wiser until the woman sadly took her life. Thankfully, White’s mother knew that the bounty hunter was the kid’s dad and she got in touch with him to let him what had happened. It certainly came as a shock to Duane to discover that he had a grown-up son out in the world, but he still welcomed Christopher into his family with open arms.
