Many stars have been born thanks to Playboy, and none of it would have been possible without the owner: Hugh Hefner. The creator of the company spent the majority of his life enjoying his creation, with the Playboy mansion being one of the most prominent features.
His family sold the property in 2018 for a staggering $35 million. $15 million of this immediately went to Hugh who lost his life in 2017 at 91 years old with magazine sales and various other deals continuing to add to his growing paycheck.
