Many of us have dreamed about rocking out on stage, and Tom Petty was one of the few who got to taste the rock and roll lifestyle. The musician was once the frontman of The Heartbreakers and had just finished an anniversary tour in 2017 when the world learned the news.
Reports state the Tom was performing with the band while coping with a broken hip. However, the singer accidentally overdosed on pain medication and lost his life as a result. The subsequent music sales continued to earn Tom $20 million in 2017.
