For Dan, the news was absolutely perfect! After there had been much debate in the local police station, they had finally come to a decision over Diggy. Dan and girlfriend, Megan, were allowed to keep him! The news was an incredible relief to not only Dan and his partner, but to the astonishing number of people that had become so invested in the story.
It looked like at long last Diggy was set to stay with the family that loved him so dearly.
