Normally, when a pipe is blocked, it’s some built-up food or discarded hair – nothing that some bleach and a solid plunger session won’t fix. However, when the plumber arrived to check this family’s blocked up pipe, they found that the roots of a tree had been growing in it, and had filled it completely.
While that’s certainly inconvenient, at least they were providing plenty of water for the roots to drink, helping the tree grow strong. That probably isn’t much of a consolation, is it?
