Now, this is a photo in which it’s a little harder to spot what exactly is wrong. This looks like a perfectly normal boiler, after all. However, if you take a look at the TPR valve – the brown one on the side of the boiler – it becomes a bit more obvious.
For those who don’t know, the TPR valve is used to relieve pressure and heat should the boiler need it – and the one in the picture is missing the pipe that should be attached to the valve. Eek!
