Once again, we’re not plumbers, but it wouldn’t take a professional to see that this isn’t the ideal arrangement for a set of pipes. In case you weren’t aware, one of the most basic requirements of a pipe is that it be intact – you know, so that the water can actually flow through it.
Unfortunately, this pipe has separated entirely, and is probably going to have to be replaced completely. We wouldn’t bother picking up the duct tape for this one.
