It’s unclear how the name Karen became a meme, but it’s very clear what it’s all about. A “Karen” is a pejorative character who’s a mother of multiple children, drives a Volvo, is super annoying, and is currently at a store somewhere asking to see the manager. So specific, right?
This Karen responded to the original tweet by saying “My name is Karen. Do you even have to ask?” – to which another user hilariously replied “…to see the manager?”
