There is no creature on earth more inscrutable and unreasonable than a vending machine. They make strange demands of specific currency, steal your change – and sometimes they don’t dispense the Hershey’s bar you really wanted, leaving it hanging there, half-dropped, to taunt you.
This poor soul was told by the machine that they couldn’t pay with any nickels, only bills and quarters. Upon payment, however, this person was met with a deluge of nickels – as if the machine were playing some cruelly ironic game. Pure, delicious, evil.
