This all-natural occurrence can really confuse people and mess with their heads. It looks like there are actually three suns in this photograph. But, really, it’s a trick of the eye. The three suns optical illusion is found in the country of Mongolia.
It is caused by the sunlight passing through snow crystals in the air, giving off this reflection. So, there really aren’t three suns in Mongolia. Rather, the snow and the light are just trying to pull a fast one on you.
