There is another thing in this world that really has a tendency to make people cry: Marvel movies. We don’t really know how they do it, but these humble action films get at our hearts in a way that no other movies really do. Seriously, Marvel movies have gotten us emotionally attached to certain things that we never expected to be emotionally attached to.
Did we really sit in a movie theater and cry about a tree, a hammer, a suit, and an ant? Somehow, yes. Yes we did. And that’s the magic of art, people!
