This joke works on so many levels. First off, the obvious joke – Peggy is just minding her own business, totally unaware that her long lost love is staring right at the through the blinds in the wall. But even deeper than that – John Krasinski actually auditioned to play Captain America, and nearly got the role before it went to Chris Evans.
Captain America – Super spy. While we think Chris did a Marvelous job (pun intended), John here staring through the blinds could have worked just as well.
