Getting your permit is a big deal, and for most it is pretty scary. Luckily for those who have parents with lots of experience behind the wheel, it is less intimidating. Most people end up going to a huge parking lot when it is empty to learn how to drive. For this new driver, the scenery was a bit different. Their parents thought, “What is the most empty place we know? The desert.” Although they were right in that regard, they forgot that the desert isn’t as smooth as a paved parking lot.
