We’ve already mentioned how horror movie plots rarely make much sense. This meme brings up a great example; the plot of Friday the 13th.
The poor camp counselors being terrorized by a killer at Camp Crystal Lake have absolutely nothing to do with the drowning of Jason Voorhees two decades earlier. And yet, his mother Pamela Voorhees, seemingly driven mad by grief, decides to take out her revenge on them. This movie makes little sense, but is still a great horror classic.
