We’ve mentioned the minority trope already. Here’s a hilarious tweet observation that perfectly sums up another pattern that’s very visible in horror movies. Many of them seem to center around a very specific group.
In the fictional horror universes, most people are rich, white people, who look like super models and live in luxurious villas (despite never seeming to actually work much). And, they never fail to run straight towards the very obvious danger facing them.
