It seems like some people are always worse off in horror movies. One group we’ve previously mentioned is blonde girls. Another is any and every minority. We’re not sure why this is, but it’s a trope people are very fed up with, and often make fun of.
In the popular horror parody series Scary Movie, this and many other horror movie cliches is frequently ridiculed. And with the horror movie genre constantly evolving, it seems like this trope might soon be a thing of the past.
