Horror movies are usually not seen as high quality. They rarely win any of the prestigious awards, and are rarely credited with teaching any valuable lessons (besides “don’t movie into haunted houses”). But Nadia here is trying to find the positives about this genre, and she makes a good point here.
There are quite a few examples of kids and teens in scary movies turning to the library to learn more about the demon or serial killer who’s terrorizing them.
