We always think horror movie villains are nothing but villains. But they often have dark secrets and heartbreaking childhoods behind them, which is the reason they become evil in the first place. Take Michael Myers from the Halloween series, for example.
He felt neglected as a kid, forgotten by both his parents and older sister tasked with babysitting him. So he decided to take out his hurt and anger by becoming a serial killer. Ok, that actually sounds insane. No wonder no one ever sympathizes with him.
