In the end, Nejdra knew that she had to ask a tough question. She asked Ann if she really was her mother, and she wasn’t expecting the response. Ann immediately started crying and confessed that she wasn’t her biological mother, but that she had adopted her when her narcotics-addicted parents couldn’t look after her.
Not convinced with Ann’s answer, Nejdra’s research soon found her on the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children’s website. It was here that she discovered that she was actually the missing Carlina White.
