Ah, to be an adult watching a children’s film, listing all the things about the story that make no sense in the real world. Here’s a fun plot hole about The Little Mermaid that could have changed how the movie went.
Ariel is apparently literate, since she read and signed Ursula’s contract, and yet, when she goes to the human world, she never thinks about pantomiming her way into getting some pen and paper to communicate with Prince Eric. Maybe they never heard of pantomime, under the sea?
