From the makers of Arthur’s earphones that sit on one’s cheekbones, comes Mr. Krabs’ earphones that sit on one’s eyeballs. Looking at the two images below made us feel squeamish, because boy, that cannot be comfortable.
We wonder if the people who make these cartoons draw earphones like that because they think it’s funny, or because they don’t have time to think of an alternative. The name of the appliance is EARphones, but they’re never near the characters’ ears.
