We have to admit, the idea of naming a town ‘Happy’ seems like a fairly strange decision. After all, it just looks like tempting fate – daring the universe to prove just how ironic it can make the name of a town.
Nonetheless, the good people of Happy persevered with their naming decision – christening the town as such in tribute to a stream of all things. To be fair, the stream was discovered in the 1800s, when that was actually a pretty big deal.
