Ashes and food do not mix, but this family sat down to a meal with some cranberry served in an ashtray. No one wants to hurt their grandma’s feelings, so no one had the heart to tell her what those spoon slots were really for. It’s so sweet for her to think of little details like that. And really, if it’s never been used for its intended purpose, is it gross? We don’t think so. Go for it, Grandma.
