There are a number of odd and awkward moments on Ellen’s show, and a number of them have to do with weird interactions between her and her celebrity guests. One famous (or infamous, we guess) celeb interview that happened on the show was when Katy Perry came on and Ellen boldly proclaimed that she had never been married.
Katy then came back with the receipts and reminded Ellen about her marriage to Russel Brand, saying that Ellen had even given her gifts for the occasion. We can only imagine the audience cringing.
